Following the announcement of the partition decision and the proposal to establish two states in Palestine at the end of 1947, and after the changes that were bound to take place, most notably the British government’s decision to withdraw from Palestine and the intention of the Arab armies to enter in the event of the declaration of a Jewish state, Ben-Gurion began to sense the gravity of the situation that the nascent state would be, and then adopted a military strategy different from that list, which is represented by the terrorist organizations Haganah, Stern and Irgun.
This strategy was to establish an army that could confront the Arab armies that would enter. If we go back in history, when the first terrorist gang was formed, we will land in the first quarter of the twentieth century, when the nucleus of the first gang in Palestine was formed.
With the influx of Jews from Russia and Eastern Europe to settle in Palestine, in 1909 the settlement of Hashomer was established, where it defended fourteen other settlements that developed their covert offensive capabilities and prepared for the war in which they believed in control of Palestine.
This settlement considered itself the first nucleus of that future Jewish army. The settlement forces carried out numerous killings and liquidations, not only directed at Palestinians, but also at some of its members.
In 1920, this Hashomer evolved into the Haganah, which was later considered by the British as the defensive paramilitary arm of the settlements. In 1931, after Ergun Zeevi resigned from the Haganah due to the incompatibility of his policy with that of Ben-Gurion, he formed the Irgun Zionist gang.
Menachem Begin then defected from this gang and formed the Lehi gang. All of these gangs carried out liquidations and assassinations, as well as the massacres committed against the Palestinian people in ‘48. After the declaration of the state, Ben-Gurion announced the dismantling and unification of these organizations, although Ben-Gurion claimed that these organizations, most notably the Haganah, were different from the army.
The fact is that the IDF is a definite extension of those organizations or at least as General Yaakov Dore said, “It is true that the IDF is not a continuation of the Haganah, the IDF is something new and different but there is no question that it was built on the foundations of the Haganah. And not only on the Haganah but on the whole military heritage.”
The follower of the massacres committed by the occupation army since its establishment and through the march of this state must find that they are no less terrible than what was committed by the gangs “nucleus” Palestinians, and history witnesses and preserves many facts. This indicates the doctrine that unites the members of these gangs as well as the members of the army later, with the difference of purifying words from gangs whose name reflects the licking of blood to an elegant and moral army. It is the doctrine of the books written down by sadistic rabbis thirsty for Palestinian blood in the name of profane unleavened bread as it matures and re-kneaded it with new blood.
The occupation army continues the terrorism it inherited from these gangs in its war on Gaza 2023-2024, committing hundreds of massacres, inhumane abuses and abuse of the dead before the living.
